While searching for an embeddable game for my blog, I stumbled upon Sonic. I have mentioned before that my gaming experience from my childhood was quite limited. It consisted of Nintendo and Sega. I wasn't a fan of narrative games or the old-school Apple games that were available to me at school. Thus, Mario and Sonic were my go-to games.
It is quite fun to look back at gaming past. It makes you realize how attached to the characters we become. I have fond memories of Sonic, just as I do with my favorite toy or activity. Enjoy!

This is Me!
Hello! I am a kindergarten teacher in Minnesota as well as a graduate student at Boise State University. I created this blog as means to sharing more about myself with those in the same classes at BSU.
I am a mother of two elementary age children, Annabel and Gus. My husband and I are both teachers at the same district in which they attend. We love our morning commutes together and jamming to good music on the ride home. We have four dogs that fill our home and we find ourselves to be very busy.
I completed a teaching and learning masters program in 2006 that was worthwhile, but didn't really leave me with a fulfilled feeling. I searched for other programs and landed at the Boise website. My husband enrolled and completed the program first, and after seeing the enthusiasm he had for the coursework, I decided that it was a good fit for me.
I am thankful for all I have learned over the last year and a half. As I complete my last semester, I feel excited for what I have learned, but a bit sad that it is coming to an end!
